It looks desperately droopy here, post-transplant, but it perked up right away and I'll have new pictures soon. This pretty desert-hardy plant blooms in all sorts of bright colors. Which means... that I'm going to get a boatload of fruit from it (yay) and that I need to stake it up before it takes over the world (whoops). It's already flowering nicely, it's got two veeeeery tiny tomatoes on it, and new buds pop out every day. Two of the plants (Goliath and Bonnie Grape) are actually quite a bit larger than they appear, due to the stems growing sort of... snaggledy. I'm trying to train them straight because I don't like stems and leaves touching the moist soil, but it's an uphill battle. As an aside, aren't my babies getting pretty? The plant still looks pretty sad, but it's slowly making a comeback. It's an Angelonia angustifolia (which is just fun to say), otherwise known as "summer snapdragon." It's very pretty, but I suck at growing flowers so this is the only picture you get until I nurse the plant back to health.
